In 2023 we received an inquiry from a customer who, in order to reduce fossil fuel consumption and improve plant efficiency, installed a steam superheater; however, a bad design caused dilatation failures in the tube bundle and casing.

In this case, from Aitesa we study the case of the overheater to propose the best solution to the customer. In this case we replace the entire equipment, to ensure that the equipment works as expected and improving the thermal performance.

After replacement the equipment has operated without any of the previous failures, giving the plant a new life and opportunity to be more environmentally responsible while reducing operating costs.
