AITESA is pleased to announce that we have obtained the official status of Delegated Subject for the processing of Energy Saving Certificates (CAEs), a strategic step that strengthens our ability to offer comprehensive energy efficiency solutions to our industrial customers.

What does it mean to be a CAEs Delegated Subject?

This accreditation enables us to fully manage the entire process necessary for our clients to obtain CAEs from their energy saving projects. The services we offer in this area include:

  • Technical analysis and calculation of energy savings associated with the project.
  • Administrative processing of the file for obtaining CAEs.
  • Advice on the sale of the certificates, facilitating access to additional income that can be used to partially finance the investments made.

CAEs: A service applicable to multiple industrial sectors

One of the main advantages of this model is its versatility: CAEs are not restricted to a specific technology or a single industrial sector. At AITESA we develop energy efficiency projects in refining, chemical and petrochemical, food and beverage, water treatment, paper industry and other areas, and in all of them opportunities can be identified to generate and take advantage of these certificates. The only exception is primary generation activities, which are outside the scope of the mechanism.

This means that most of our clients can benefit from this mechanism, even in projects already recently executed or currently in the design phase.

Technical and administrative support in the CAEs

Thanks to our experience in industrial thermal solutions and now also as a Delegated Subject, we offer our customers the possibility of:

  • Maximize the economic return on your energy efficiency investments.
  • Avoid the technical and bureaucratic complexity of the processing process.
  • To have a single interlocutor from project design to the procurement and sale of the CAEs.

Thanks to MITECO

We would like to expressly thank the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) for its support during the accreditation process, as well as for its promotion of this model that facilitates the energy transformation of the Spanish industrial fabric.
